How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get to be an Internet Marketing Mentor?

It all goes back to a “defining moment” in my life that took place when I was in college. Back in the mid ‘90s when I was studying Marketing at Louisiana State University I was also working as the marketing manager for a retail store. At that time I was just starting my career and I was very focused on growing this store to the next level.

Over a period of months I tried a lot of different things to grow the business. I even launched a mail order catalog, but the breakthrough I dreamed of just wasn’t happening. I remember reading an article in the Wall Street Journal around that time about how the Internet would revolutionize the way business was done. I was fascinated with this possibility, so I decided to put this theory to the test. I invested a great deal of time and energy in building a website for the store – I even learned HTML programming, but sales didn’t change.

It wasn’t until I positioned the website at the top of the search engine rankings that sales increased dramatically within only a few months. Needless to say, my boss was thrilled and began telling his friends. Soon other business owners began contacting me and asking me for help. It seemed that there was such a need out there for people to consistently attract new customers through the Internet without having to learn to speak geek and so when I graduated from LSU I devoted myself to helping people do this.

Over the years I’ve worked with many people and organizations on their Internet strategy, marketing, and websites and as a result, I developed the Road Map to Internet Marketing Success System to reliably produce a website that consistently attracts attention and ideal clients.

I primarily work with successful small business owners who have a local service based business. Although I’ve worked with e-commerce sites, non-profits, and even websites in 18 different languages with great results, I have a special connection with small business owners because that is where I started out. I really love working with people like this and producing the kind of results that change their lives.

How are you different from other “Internet marketers” or “website designers”?

What really sets me apart from others in this field is my depth of experience and my passion for delivering big results for my clients.
